Kriplau Yoga: With the guidance of the instructor, students are encouraged to modify the poses accordingtoindividual needs. Emphasis on relaxation, flexibility and strength, breath and movement allowing the spirit to soar!


Yoga For Everybody: Taught by a teacher who is certified to teach cardiac and cancer patients. Working for rehabilitation hospitals, our teacher is skilled in teaching everybody do yoga. For students of all levels.

 

Tantric Yoga Flow for Men (Philip Deal): This class is designed to help men liberate the body so it can explore the joys of more vigorous and creative ways of love making. The flow primes the body to bend and stretch in positions that assist in performance of Kama Sutra. It will also build upper body strength, tone the legs and butt, and use dance movement to open the hips. Erotic body movement is incorporated into the flow to liberate Kundalini energy that might be trapped at the base of the spine. This class is fun and vigorous, not for the faint of heart!

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program (Philip Deal): Approved by the Yoga Alliance our training will teach individuals to lead a safe and effective beginner to advanced Vinyasa Yoga and Universal Chi Yoga class. You will study sacred Yoga texts, anatomy and physiology, alignment and verbal cuing, modern meridian theory, yoga for seniors, pre and Postpartum, and most importantly manual adjustments. By the time you finish this 200 hour training you will be able to lead a vigorous and fun Yoga class as well as a meditative restorative class in three different Yoga styles.

Iyengar Yoga: Extensive use of props and careful observation of alignment are the basis of the Iyengar method, allowing a gradual, injury free development of strength and flexibility.

 

Hatha Yoga: A blend of various hatha yoga styles with emphasis on certain aspects depending on the desires and capabilities of the students, incorporating a sense of ease and exertion to bring awareness to the body and the mind through mindful asana and breath.  

 

Tong Ren Guinea Pig classes are group healing sessions utilizing Tom Tam’s Healing System. The basis of Tong Ren Energy Healing is to access Universal Chi and sending this energy to specific targeted points, depending on the persons condition to break up blockages in the body that cause dis-ease. Pre-Natal Yoga applies classical yoga techniques and focus on areas of the body that need stretching and strengthening during pregnancy. Improve lower back and abdominal muscles, develop your own breathing rhythm, and visualize your powers of effective visualization for a birth that is alive with awareness and focused on empowerment for both mother and baby. Carmela has taught this workshop for twelve years and is a pioneer in prenatal yoga in the Boston area.

Mom & Baby—Tone, strengthen and stretch your muscles and release stress through breathing and postures that your baby can watch or participate in.  (for mothers with babies who cannot yet walk).
